“Love Is Life Force.”1
my dad is visiting his brother this week. they were going through old photos and he shared this photo of my cousin and me in yosemite. probably a quarter century ago at least. my little body says Look! At! Henry!
this photo reminded me that we come in to this world utterly delighted by each other. nearly squeezing the living daylights out of each other to express it. new to earth with unencumbered glee.
and that vista behind us. those old rocks beneath us. i’m sure the sunshine aided. i’m sure we were also smiling at whoever snapped the shot, too.
this presence and cheer. may we steward each other’s cheer. cheer on, cheer up. like wow, you’re here. i’m so glad you’re here. over the moon. over the valley.
radiating.
